Literary Analysis Sentence Frames:
This is an EXAMPLE of an ANALYSIS of the "Atlantis" article that we will use to help guide our learning. Eventually we will be writing our own analyses of texts.
Use the "Atlantis" article on page 20-21 to complete the chart.
For this text we will work on marking the text with literary elements and devices. Cut the page in half and glue it into your spiral and mark, write in the margins and highlight.
Resource for marking the text: We have been practicing identifying literary elements in short stories in this unit. We have worked in partners, compared with others and reviewed as a whole group.
